PRESS RELEASE: Collyer Bristow Gallery explores StrangeLands in new exhibition

Over 300 guests attended the private view of new StrangeLands exhibition.
It is the fourth exhibition by in-house curator Rosalind Davis.
The private view in the Collyer Bristow Gallery on 21 June launched the dynamic new exhibition, StrangeLands. The evening was a great success with over 300 guests coming through the doors of Collyer Bristow to take in work by twenty three emerging and established artists, covering a wide range of media.
The exhibition, curated by Rosalind Davis, explores unanchored worlds, be they political, historical, psychological or mythical, and the fragile boundary between reality and fiction. In the tempestuous and ever changing world we live in where there is much room for interpretation, the exhibition holds particular resonance.
StrangeLands is the fourth exhibition in Rosalind’s successful run as the firm’s in-house curator. The Collyer Bristow Gallery is a unique gallery space with an exciting exhibition programme. Collyer Bristow is a UK law firm, with offices in London and Geneva, which provides business and personal legal advice to a wide range of clients both in the UK and internationally. It has championed emerging talent in contemporary art for almost 30 years.
The artists featured in StrangeLands are: Alan Baker, Richard Baker, Michael Calver, Ben Cove, Emma Cousin, Nick Dawes, Cristina De Middel, Amanda Doran, Tamara Dubnyckyj, Richard Ducker, Gibson/Martelli, Justin Hibbs, Richard Perry, Alison Pilkington, Freddie Robins, Nicolas Ruston, Dylan Shipton, John Stark, Wendy Saunders, Joan Sugrue, Kelly Sweeney, Mollie Tearne and Joanna Whittle.
